For 2007/2008 our focus with regards to schools will be:
To continue to advocate at all levels for the inclusion of
quality learn to swim programmes as a key component of a school’s
curriculum and for the required resourcing to be made available that
will facilitate the ongoing delivery of these programmes
Foster strong relationships between schools and local aquatic
facilities and swim schools
Recognise schools and individuals who are achieving quality
learn to swim outcomes.
Develop partnerships with organisations that provide benefits
directly relating to a schools aquatic programmes – see
